Hakushika sake is a “Junmai Ginjo” type sake. This is a premium sake designation, which guarantees a residual size after rice polishing of less than 60%. This versatile sake is perfect for pairing with a variety of Japanese dishes including sushi, teriyaki, tempura, breaded pork tonkatsu and yakitori. Also excellent mixed in cocktails and in cooking.

Suggested pairings: Excellent with seafood (sushi, sashimi, tuna carpaccio, lobster), poultry (yakitori chicken and lightly flavored duck) and fine beef (Kobe beef and wagyu steak, teppanyaki, shabu shabu). Also excellent with vegetarian cuisines such as stir-fried vegetables in soy sauce, chilled tofu, yudofu and seasoned ponzu appetizers.
