Yoshi no Gawa Kome Dake no Sake

Winner of a gold medal from the Canada Sake Challenge, this medium-bodied premium sake comes from Yoshi No Gawa, the oldest sake brewery in the famous Niigata prefecture. Founded in 1548, the brewery has been built on twenty generations of quality, expertise and an undeniable spirit of innovation.

This smooth junmai sake is creamy, with a medium finish. Aromas of cashew nuts, rice pudding, with hints of shiitake mushroom, blend wonderfully with flavors of passion fruit and cantaloupe. This sake goes well with curry rice, pasta carbonara and shabu shabu.
